The Journal of Leisure Science is a completely sporadic composition of journeys into the ridiculous. There are no regular publications as all top contributors consider themselves too leisurely to take even leisure seriously. This article comes from Viking Ranch Arizona the day following the birthday of local Issac Neff. Issac’s best gift this year was a croquet set from his beloved sister Margo. After one attempted round in the bunch grass of the front yard, competitors soon turned their eyes to the dirt jump course recently built in the back yard of this humble residence.
The dirt jump course constructed earlier this fall has previously seen repeated runs by mountain bikes and the dogs that chase them but today there was an unprecedented croquet run. After some warm up laps the team played through.
Erin made the first successful wicket on the big ramp and set the precedent for other proud sends.
Cole is a seasoned croquet shredder and joined us fresh off of her tour as the bass player for a Van Halen reunion tour. Her doubles partner Clark was ejected from his last croquet tournament in The Chech Republic for alleged steroid use. His blood work was never released and he now works part time as a railroad engineer.
The author and primary contributor to Journal of leisure science made the most wickets for the day but hubly professes that all wickets are made by ACME inc. save the sticky ones which have been outsourced over seas.
Issac and Sabrina reside in Northern Arizona and maintain a weapons cache at Viking Ranch in anticipation of the next Zombie invasion.
When Jamie isn’t chasing croquet balls, she chases bikes and motorcycles around Viking Ranch. In her dreams she chases the zombies Ike keeps warning her about.
